Interactive 3D Model Test from Onshape
Test page to display on the web a glTF model exported from Onshape with rotation, zoom and 3D view controls.
This page serves as a technical test to validate if we can integrate 3D models exported from Onshape into the web.
The aim is to show the model directly inside the page, without relying on an Onshape iframe. This way we avoid Onshape's security restrictions and can present technical designs more visually for customers, work and workshop.
How to interact with the model
- Drag with the mouse or finger to rotate the piece.
- Use the mouse wheel or clamp gesture to zoom in and out.
- On mobile, if the device allows it, the viewer can offer augmented reality view.
Potential use in HAM
This system can be applied to real jobs, CAD designs, previous manufacturing proposals, special structures, railings, stairs, roofs or custom metal parts.
The advantage is that visitors can better understand the geometry of work before seeing technical drawings or manufacturing photographs.
3D metal grille
This viewer allows you to rotate, zoom in and review the model directly from the web. It is a test to validate the integration of glTF files exported from Onshape.
Assembly door up in 3D
Second test viewer with complete assembly exported from Onshape in glTF format, served from the web itself to avoid iframe locks.
